Motion Control AI

How the Kling motion control tiers differ

Motion Control AI runs Kling 3.0 Pro, the highest-fidelity tier, as its single fixed model at 2.2 credits per second.

A practical workflow for better inputs

What Motion Control AI uses today

Every generation runs Kling 3.0 Pro in 1080p at 2.2 credits per detected second. There is no model picker, the strongest tier is applied automatically.

Kling 2.6 vs 3.0 in the wider ecosystem

Kling 2.6 Pro is the lower-rate tier in the Kling lineup. Kling 3.0 is the higher-fidelity generation. Motion Control AI skips the trade-off and uses 3.0 Pro for every video.

Compare with the same inputs

Keep the character, reference video, framing, and prompt unchanged when evaluating any motion control output. This makes visual differences easier to judge.

Plan the input before spending credits

Use these checks to make the image, reference motion, and intended output work as one production setup.

One model removes the cost-versus-fidelity trade-off

Earlier Motion Control AI builds exposed Kling 2.6 Pro at 1.6 credits per reference-video second and Kling 3.0 Standard at 1.8 credits per second. The current build replaces both with Kling 3.0 Pro at 2.2 credits per second, so a 10-second clip costs 22 credits regardless of framing mode.

Duration depends on framing mode. Image framing supports 3 to 10 seconds. Video framing supports 3 to 30 seconds. The detected movement-video length sets the credit cost, which is rounded up to a whole credit and shown before you generate.

How to evaluate quality without switching models

Use the same character image, reference video, prompt, and framing mode across runs. Review face stability, hand shape, clothing detail, pose accuracy, and transitions at the same timestamps. Because the model is fixed, differences between runs come from the inputs rather than the tier.

Focus on input quality when a result is off. A clear character image with visible limbs and a movement clip where the person stays fully in frame matter more than any remaining tier choice. Judge the output against the purpose of the shot, a clean readable gesture can matter more than small texture improvements for a mobile social clip.

A low-risk beginner workflow

Start with a short reference to validate body coverage, starting pose, and general identity. Fix obvious input problems before extending the clip. Once the character transfers reliably, repeat the exact setup with the final movement and add a style prompt for the background, lighting, and atmosphere.

Keep notes for each result rather than relying on memory. Record the input duration, framing mode, prompt, and the defect or improvement you observed. A rights review, a complete playback check, and final editing are still required before publication.

Know the current limits

Model quality varies by character style and movement. Motion Control AI applies one fixed model, so input quality drives the result.

Questions before you generate

Which model does Motion Control AI use?

Kling 3.0 Pro, the highest-fidelity Kling motion control tier, for every video. There is no model picker.

Which model supports a 30-second image-framed clip?

Image framing is capped at 10 seconds. Use video framing for clips up to 30 seconds.

Does the output keep the source audio?

KIE Kling 3.0 Pro motion control generates video without the original audio. Add sound later in your editor if needed.

How many credits does a 20-second clip use?

At 2.2 credits per detected second, a 20-second clip uses 44 credits. The total is rounded up and shown before you generate.

Should I change the prompt between runs?

Change one input at a time. Keep the prompt stable while you adjust the character, movement, or framing so you can tell what caused the difference.

Put the movement into your own character

Prepare one character image and one reference video. Review the credit cost before you generate.
